Daisy Goliath Mixed Seeds

A hardy biennial producing supersized, mainly double daisy heads in warm pastels of pink, white and cream  ideal for spring bedding, containers, and neat edging displays.

Soil: Moist, fertile, well-drained; enrich with garden compost for best results

Avoid Pairing With: Tall, shading plants

 

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow indoors from March to May in trays of fine seed compost, covering seeds lightly (approx. 0.5 cm). Keep compost moist and place in a cool bright position or cold frame; seedlings typically appear within 14–28 days. Transplant carefully to individual pots when large enough to handle, harden off and plant out with spacing suitable for compact spring bedding.

 

 

Grow in full sun to partial shade; keep evenly moist during establishment. Remove spent flowers to tidy display and reduce seed self-sowing if undesired. Excellent for massed spring colour in beds and containers and for creating low, formal edging lines.
