Beetroot Golden Eye Seeds – Irish Plants Direct

Beetroot Golden Eye (Beta vulgaris) is a striking and sweet flavoured variety producing smooth, round roots with vibrant golden-yellow flesh. Unlike traditional red beetroot, Golden Eye doesn’t bleed when cut or cooked, making it ideal for colourful salads, roasting, and pickling. Its mild, earthy flavour and tender texture appeal to gourmet gardeners and adventurous cooks alike.

Thriving in fertile, well drained soil, Beetroot Golden Eye flourishes in full sun and offers excellent uniformity and bolt resistance. The bright green tops are also edible, adding versatility to your harvest and visual interest to garden beds.

Successional Sowing:
Sow every 3–4 weeks for a continuous supply. Later sowings can be lifted and stored for winter use. Remove any woody or oversized roots to maintain quality.

Beetroot Golden Eye brings bold colour, mild flavour, and culinary versatility to the garden. A standout choice for fresh dishes, preserves, and vibrant plating.
