Bee Flower Mix ORGANIC Seeds

Sow March to May directly outdoors where they are to flower. Germination 14 to 21 days at 15–20°C. Soil and Position Light free draining soil; prefers full sun. Height Mixed heights from 30 to 90 cm. Flowering June to September; a succession of blooms provides continuous forage for bees.

 

Sowing instructions

 

Prepare a fine seed bed in a sunny position. Scatter seed evenly over the surface and rake in lightly. Water gently and keep moist until seedlings establish. Thin if necessary to avoid overcrowding. For extended flowering sow in small patches every two to three weeks.

 

Grow and maintenance

 

Grow in full sun in light well drained soil. Water during dry spells until plants are established. Once flowering begins the mix requires little maintenance other than occasional deadheading to prolong the display. Allow some flowers to set seed for natural self sowing the following year.
