Basil Thai (Ocimum basilicum var. thyrsiflora) is a striking and aromatic herb known for its spicy sweet flavour with hints of anise and clove. Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds thinly on the surface of moist seed compost from February to June. Cover lightly with compost and maintain a temperature of 18–22°C. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into individual pots and grow on in bright, warm conditions.

 

 

Outdoors/Containers:

Transplant into patio pots, raised beds, or sheltered borders after the last frost. Space plants 25–35 cm apart. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushiness and harvest regularly to promote fresh growth.
