Sowing Instructions

Indoors: Sow seeds thinly in trays or pots filled with moist, well-drained compost from February to June. Lightly cover with compost or vermiculite. Maintain a temperature of 18-22°C and keep the soil moist. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots or directly into a larger container. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions if planting outdoors.

 

Outdoors: Sow directly into prepared soil in a sunny, sheltered spot from May to July once all risk of frost has passed. Sow seeds thinly, cover lightly with soil, and water gently. Thin seedlings to 15-20 cm apart to allow room for bushy growth.
