Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to May in trays or pots of moist, well-drained compost, lightly pressing the seeds onto the surface without covering, as they require light to germinate. Keep at a temperature of 18-22°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into larger pots or outdoors after the last frost.

 

Alternatively, sow seeds directly outdoors from May to June in a sunny, sheltered location. Thin seedlings to 20-25 cm apart for optimal growth.
