Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from January to April. Lightly press seeds onto the surface of moist, well-drained compost but do not cover, as they need light to germinate. Keep at a temperature of 15-18°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow on until ready to plant outdoors after the last frost.

 

Alternatively, sow seeds outdoors from May to June in a well-prepared seedbed. Thin seedlings to 15-20 cm apart to allow for spreading.
