Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly cover with compost and maintain a temperature of 18–21°C until germination. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

 

Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 25–30 cm apart in a sunny or lightly shaded spot.

 

For outdoor sowing, scatter seeds in a well-prepared bed from May to June. Lightly cover with soil, water gently, and thin seedlings to the recommended spacing once they are established.
