Zinnia Star Starbright Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These pretty annual flowers with single daisy like flowers in shades of golden yellow, orange and white will provide excellent summer displays in a sunny mixed beds, borders and containers.

They make a good cut flower and are excellent plants for encouraging bee's and butterflies into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between April and May 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25 cm apart.

Alternatively sow into seed trays on a sunny window sill March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into trays to grow on.

Plant out when the risk of frost has passed.
