These eye catching annuals have a vast range of bright and colourful semi and fully double flowers on slender stems above lush green foliage.

They make a good cut flower and are an excellent choice for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between April and May 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25 cm apart.

Alternatively sow into seed trays on a sunny window sill March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into trays to grow on.

Plant out when the risk of frost has passed.
