Sowing instructions

 

Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep in finely prepared soil outdoors from April to July. Water well and keep moist during germination. Thin seedlings to 5 cm apart when large enough to handle. Transplant to final position in autumn, spacing 20 cm apart. Pinch growing tips at 10–15 cm to encourage bushy growth.

 

Grow and maintenance

 

Grow in full sun in well drained soil. Water during dry spells and remove spent blooms to prolong flowering. Hardy and low-maintenance once established. Allow some plants to self-seed for natural regeneration.
