Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds thinly in prepared soil or trays of moist compost. Lightly cover with fine soil and maintain temperatures at 15 to 20°C. Germination usually occurs within 1 to 2 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing 25 to 30 cm apart. Harden off indoor seedlings and plant out in autumn for spring flowering

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during dry spells until plants are established. Once mature, wallflowers require little care and thrive in sunny, well-drained positions. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering and maintain a tidy display. Biennial plants will flower the following spring after autumn planting
