Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors: Sow seeds from February to April in trays or pots of fine seed compost. Sow thinly, cover lightly with compost, and keep at a temperature of 18–21°C. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into individual pots. Harden off before planting outside after the last frost.

 

Outdoors/Under Glass: Plant in fertile soil or large containers, spacing 45–60 cm apart, and provide support for climbing stems. Remove side shoots regularly and water consistently to encourage steady growth and fruiting.
