Sweet William ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This sweet scented border favourite has a mix of single flowers in shades of white, pink and red throughout summer.

A popular biennial or short lived perennial for a sunny mixed border or container displays they also makes a nice cut flower for around the home.

Excellent for attracting wildlife into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between May and August 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25cm apart to flower the following summer.

Alternatively sow indoors between March - April on a sunny window sill or in a propagator.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into trays spacing 5cm apart or individual pots or modules to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants and plant out after the risk of frost has passed.
