Sweet Pea Zorjia Rose Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

A popular climbing annual with delicately scented vibrant magenta pink flowers on long slender stems.

Grow in a sunny border against a trellis, wigwam, or obelisk.

They make a lovely cut flower for the home.

Sow January - April or September

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline, or neutral

Germination time 10 - 25 days

Height 180 - 200cm

Plant in full sun

Flowers June - September

Plant in beds, borders, containers, cottage, cut flower, wildlife

When the young plants have 3 - 4 leaves pinch out the tops to encourage bushy growth.

Sow indoors between January - March on a sunny window sill or in a propagator grow on and plant out after the risk of frost has passed.

Sow outdoors April - May, where they are to grow sowing 2 seeds 10cm apart.

Sow September - October in a cool greenhouse or cold frame ready for planting out in spring.
