Sunflower Autumn Beauty Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow annual is well branched with long stems making for a great cut flower.

This is a fabulous mix with both bi coloured and solid colours in orange, red, bronze and yellow all with a chocolate brown centre.

A tall striking plant for the back of a sunny border.

Sunflowers encourage a host of valuable wildlife into the garden.

Leave the seed heads over winter to feed the birds.

Sow between late April - May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where the plants are to grow space the plants to 30 - 45cm apart.

Alternatively sow during March on a sunny window sill in pots.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out 39 - 45cm apart.
