Germination Time: 7 - 14 days

Soil: Loam or sandy soil; acidic, alkaline, or neutral pH

Sowing Instructions

 

Direct Sow:

 

Sow seeds thinly directly into prepared soil outdoors from March onwards.

Rake the soil finely and ensure it is moist before sowing seeds approximately 1 cm deep. Cover lightly with soil.

As seedlings emerge, thin them to around 8 cm apart initially, and then further thin to 20 cm to allow young plants ample space to thrive.
