Sowing Instructions

Indoors: Sow from February to April on the surface of moist seed compost and do not cover, as light aids germination. Keep at a steady temperature until seedlings appear. Transplant into small pots when large enough to handle and harden off before planting out after frost.

Outdoors: Sow from April to May in finely prepared soil. Press seeds lightly into the surface and keep moist until established. Thin seedlings to allow plants to develop a compact, bushy shape.

Regular deadheading encourages continuous flowering. Blooms can be cut at any stage and will dry naturally, retaining their colour and shape for months.
