Strawberry Regina Seed - Irish Plants Direct

A superb everbearing variety, Strawberry Regina produces an abundance of sweet, juicy, deep red fruits throughout summer and into autumn.

This compact, bushy plant is ideal for gardens, containers, and hanging baskets, offering delicious strawberries with an intense aroma and excellent flavour.

As a wild-type Alpine strawberry, it requires no runners, focusing its energy on fruit production for a prolonged and reliable harvest.

Sowing Instructions

When to Sow: January–May

Where to Sow: Indoors in seed trays or directly outdoors in well-prepared soil.

Growing Information

Prefers a sunny or partially shaded location with moist, well-drained, fertile soil.

Flowers: Small white blooms appear from May onwards, attracting pollinators.

Harvest: June–October

Companion Planting

Grows well alongside borage, thyme, and spinach, which help deter pests and improve flavour.

Avoid planting near brassicas to reduce competition and pest issues.
