Strawberry Alpine Red And Cream Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This alpine variety has an abundance of small deep red and creamy white very sweet fruits that are produced throughout summer.

They are ideal for planting in garden borders, pots & planters or window boxes.

Sow January - March

Germination time 14 - 21 days

Loam soil thats neutral

Harvest August - October

Companion plants lettuce, onions, spinach

Do not plant with Tomatoes, potatoes peppers or aubergine

Pick when the strawberries are ripe

A good source of vitamin c

Use for delicious deserts

Sow between January - March in a propagator or on a warm window sill onto sieved moist compost and press the seed down gently.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Harden off before planting out when all risk of frost has passed 20cm apart.
