These pretty half hardy annuals have double flowers in various shades of pink, white and red they are great summer colour.

 

They help create great bedding displays providing a sweet fragrance.

Sow March - May 

Loam, chalk or sandy that's alkaline or neutral 

 

Sow between March- April on a sunny window sill into a tray of moist compost covering with 6mm of sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into trays spacing the plants 5cm apart to grow on.

 

Gradually harden off the plants when all risk of frosts has passed spacing the plants 30cm apart.
