St Johns Wort Herb Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This evergreen shrubby herb has dark green foliage and is smoothered in bright yellow flowers with reddish green seed pods.

A lovely perennial shrub that can be grown in pots, containers or garden borders.

St johns wort is used to treat depression and mood disorders.

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic alkaline or neutral

Flowers August - October the following year

Grow in beds and borders or a large container

Sow thinly between April - June in a seed tray of moist compost and leave in a cool green house or cold frame.

Transplant into small pots when they are large enough to handle to grow on plant out in borders in autumn to flower the folling year.
