Squash Patisson Delikates Seed

Patisson ‘Delikates’ (Cucurbita pepo) is a highly productive and ornamental summer squash variety, known for its distinctive scalloped shape and delicate flavour.

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from April to May in pots filled with fine compost. Plant seeds 2 cm deep and keep at 18–22°C. Once seedlings develop strong roots and the risk of frost has passed, harden off and transplant outdoors.

 

Direct sow from late May to June in well-prepared, warm soil. Plant seeds 2 cm deep, spacing them at least 60 cm apart. Keep the soil moist and provide mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
