These tall daisy like annual flowers have richly coloured petals in contrasting shades of golden yellow, brown orange and red that surround a dark central cone.

They bring a long season of interest to mixed beds and borders during summer excellent for encouraging a variety of wildlife.

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator by thinly sowing the seed on top of a small seed tray of moist compost keep the compost moist.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
