Sowing Instructions

Outdoors or Containers:

Sow from February to September in shallow drills 1 cm deep. Space rows 15 cm apart and thin seedlings if needed to allow roots to develop evenly. Keep soil moist to prevent the roots from becoming woody or overly spicy. For containers, use a wide pot with light compost and sow thinly.

 

Growing On:

Water regularly during dry spells and harvest roots while young and crisp for the best flavour and texture.
