Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors from June to September for flowering the following spring. Fill trays or pots with fine, moist compost and scatter seeds on the surface do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a cool temperature of 15-18°C and keep soil damp but not waterlogged. Germination can be slow and variable.

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow them on in a cool, shaded area. Harden off before planting outdoors in autumn, spacing 20-25 cm apart in a partially shaded location with moist, humus-rich soil.

Primula Oxlip Mixed will bring a soft, nostalgic beauty to spring displays, returning year after year with its delicate and cheerful blooms.
