This compact semi evergreen spring flowering perennial has bright bi-colour and bold coloured flowers that stand on long slender stems above rosettes of green crinkly leaves.

This colourful plant is perfect for adding colour to a mixed border.

Sow indoors on a sunny window sill or in a propagator at a temperature of 16°- 18° do not cover the seed.

When the plants are large enough to handle transplant into individual pots or trays to grow on.

Sow between May - July in a cool greenhouse or cold frame into trays of moist compost do not cover the seed.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5 cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their final flowering position from June onwards to flower the following spring.
