Sowing Instructions

 

Sow indoors from February to April. Sow seeds on the surface of moist compost and lightly cover. Keep at 15 to 20°C until seedlings appear. Transplant when large enough to handle and harden off before planting out in spring. Direct sowing outdoors in prepared soil is also successful, with natural cold stratification aiding germination.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Water regularly during dry spells and mulch lightly to retain soil moisture. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. Cut back after flowering to maintain compact growth. Nepal Cinquefoil is hardy and low maintenance, returning year after year with reliable colour.
