Portulaca Large Flowered Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This dwarf creeping annual bears an abundance of double bright pink flowers over mid green fine foliage during summer.

An excellent plant for edging a sunny border or growing in pots and containers on a sunny patio.

Ideal in Rockeries, the edge of beds and borders,

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Also known as Mexican Rose, Rose moss

Sow in a propagator between March - April or on a warm window sill or greenhouse at 55 - 65 degrees into a seed tray of moist compost .

As the seedlings develop transplant to 7cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off before planting out.

Sow outdoors May - June into warm moist finely raked soil the flower the following year.
