Sowing Instructions

 

Sow directly outdoors from March to May in finely prepared soil, covering lightly. Keep moist until seedlings establish. Thin seedlings to 20 cm apart for best results. Autumn sowings in September can overwinter and flower the following year.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Perennial Flax thrives in sunny, well-drained positions and requires little care once established. Water during prolonged dry spells but avoid heavy soils or waterlogging. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowering. Hardy and reliable, it naturalises well and returns each year with minimal effort.
