Penstemon Victorian Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bushy semi evergreen perennial has a pretty mix of soft pastel and bi coloured bell shaped flowers that bloom on slender stems from mid summer.

Grow in mixed borders and cottage garden schemes.

Deadhead to prolong flowering, then cut back in spring.

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
