Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors: Sow from February to April in trays or pots filled with fine compost. Press seeds lightly into the surface without covering, as they need light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of 18–20°C and keep moist until seedlings emerge. Transplant young plants when large enough to handle, spacing 20–30 cm apart.

 

Outdoors: Direct sow from March to May in a sunny, well-prepared bed. Scatter seeds thinly, cover lightly with soil, and water gently. Thin seedlings as required for strong, bushy plants.
