Pansy Spring Stars Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This compact variety has large flowers in a mix of blotched and clear colours blooming over a long period of time over attractive dark green foliage.

They are perfect growing in borders or container displays for eye catching long flowering displays.

Can be grown as a short lived perennial or biennial.

Loam, clay or sand soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between February - March on a sunny window sill or propagator into a seed tray of moist compost, cover the seed 6mm deep with sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into trays 5cm apart to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants when all risk of frosts have passed and plant out 25cm apart.

Alternatively sow in a cold frame July - August to plant out in autumn to flower the following spring.
