Harvest when bulbs are fully formed; rich in vitamins C and B6 and antioxidants.

Sowing Instructions:

Sow seeds thinly indoors from February on moist compost, covering lightly with soil. Keep in a sunny location or a propagator for best germination.

Transplant outdoors after the last frost, spacing plants about 10-15 cm apart in rows 30 cm apart. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors from April.

Regular watering and occasional feeding will enhance growth, and onions can be harvested when tops begin to yellow and fall over.
