Malope Red Queen Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This long flowering summer annual has branching stems with lobed mid green leaves and bears masses of pretty pink funnel shaped flowers throughout summer.

They are perfect for mixed borders and cottage garden schemes.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow from March - May in a propagator or warm window sill onto sieved moist compost and press the seed down gently.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into small pots to grow on.

Harden off before planting out 30cm apart when all risks of frost has passed.

Alternatively sow in a seedbed outdoors from mid April and transpant to their final flowering position when the plants are large enough to handle.
