This tall exotic looking plant has spiky clusters of tubular orange flowers.

 

A perennial plant often grown as an annual.

 

Can be grown in container displays.

Sow February - July

 

Sow in a propagator between February - April on a warm window sill or greenhouse at 55 - 65° onto finely sieved moist compost do not cover the seed. As the seedlings develop transplant to 7cm pots to grow on.

 

Gradually harden off before planting out to flower the following year leaving 40cm between plants.
