Lavatera Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These easy to grow long flowering annuals have a mix of pastel pink and white trumpet shaped flowers that bloom profusely above bushy green foliage during summer.

Grow in beds and borders they are excellent for encouraging wildlife into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between March and May 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25 cm apart.

Alternatively sow into seed trays on a sunny window sill March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into small pots to grow on.

Plant out when the risk of frost has passed.
