This attractive easy to grow vegetable has a mix of two different varieties in one packet a purple skinned and  the other with pale green skinned both have a creamy white tasty flesh with a mild flavour. 

 

Harvest when they are about the size of a cricket ball.

 

 

Seed Qty 0.4gram

 

 

Sow thinly from March indoors in a cold frame or between April - June outside where they are to grow 1.5cm deep into finely raked well drained soil that has already been watered, leave 20cm between each row.

 

Thin the seedling to 20cm apart and keep well watered until the plants are established.
