Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors between May - August. Prepare a fine, well-drained seedbed in full sun, scattering seeds thinly on the surface. Lightly rake over and press seeds gently into the soil without burying them.

 

Alternatively, sow seeds indoors in trays of compost. Keep at a temperature of 15-18°C until germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them to their final growing positions, spacing them 20-30 cm apart.

 

Regular deadheading will prolong flowering and keep plants tidy. Allow some flowers to set seed for self-sowing or collect seeds for future planting.
