Gypsophila Babys Breath Rosea Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow hardy annual has delicate sprays of small single pink flowers.

They make an excellent back drop for other flowers and are perfect for growing in beds and borders creating great displays.

An excellent cut flower.

Sow March - May and September

Germination time 14 - 28 days

Loam or chalky soil that's alkaline or neutral

Height 50cm.

Plant in full sun or partial shade

Flowers June - September.

Ideal for beds, borders, cut flower, cottage, wildlife

Also known as Baby's breath

Cut back after flowering to ensure a second flush of flowers

Sow the seed in a sunny border between March - May in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 6mm deep.

When the seedlings emerge thin them 20cm to grow on.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
