Geum Chiloense Goldball ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This long lived garden perennial has semi double golden yellow flowers that stand on wiry stems above scalloped green foliage.

They bring long lasting colour to beds and borders from early summer and are excellent for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

Also known as avens

Deadhead to prolong flowering. Cut back after flowering to ground level.

Sow between February - April on a warm windowsill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower the next summer.
