This easy to grow biennial has intense bright blue flowers that stand on short stems above dark green foliage creating a tapestry of colour from late spring.

A great traditional cottage garden plant that is ideal for growing in mixed beds and is perfect for attracting passing wildlife.

Sow the seed between May - july directly into finely raked moist soil which has already been watered.

When the seedling appear thin to 50cm apart when they are large enough to handle plant to their final position to flower the following year.
