Dill Tetra ORGANIC Herb Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow tall upright annual herb is a vigorous variety with large strong very aromatic green feathery leaves with an aniseed flavour.

It bears umbrells of flowers during summer followed by seed that can be dried for winter use.

Grow in a flower border it can be used as a back drop in a mixed flower border.

Loam, sandy or chalk soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Harvest Year round

Companion plants Corn, Lettuce, Onion or Cucumber

Pick the leaves when required and harvest the seed heads when they are brown.

A good source of vitamin A,C and B6

Use with fish and chicken dishes

Sow the seed thinly outside into finely racked well watered soil 1.5cm deep out doors in a sunny sheltered spot between March- July thin the plants out to 20cm apart to grow on.
