Courgette Yellowstar F1 Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

 

This upright variety produces small bright yellow smooth skinned fruits with a firm flesh.

 

They can be grown in pots or containers if space is an issue.

 

The flowers are also edible.

Sow indoors from March to June into 9cm pots sowing two seeds per pot place the seed on their side 2.5cm deep and cover with compost.

 

Place on a sunny window sill, warm greenhouse or propagator to germinate. Remove the weaker plant and grow on the stronger plant when the roots are visible at the bottom of the pot transplant into a bigger pot again. Harden off and when the danger of frost has passed plant outside into a sunny spot, or grow on in the greenhouse or tunnel in a humus rich border or grow bag.

 

Alternatively sow outside in May where they are to grow.
