Sowing Instructions

Keep pots in a warm spot at 18-20°C until germination, which takes 7-14 days.

Transplant seedlings outdoors after the last frost, spacing them 90 cm apart in a sunny location.

Outdoor Sowing:

 

Direct sow seeds outdoors from May to June when the soil has warmed.

Sow 1.5 cm deep in prepared soil, spacing seeds 90 cm apart. Thin seedlings as they grow.

Growing Tips:

 

Keep soil consistently moist and mulch to retain water and suppress weeds.

Harvest fruits when they reach 15-20 cm for the best flavour and texture.

Regular picking encourages further fruit production.
