Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April in seed trays filled with fine compost. Cover lightly with soil and keep at 18-21°C until germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots and harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost, spacing plants 30-40 cm apart.

 

Alternatively, sow seeds directly outdoors in late spring after the risk of frost has passed. Rake over prepared soil, scatter seeds thinly, and lightly cover with soil. Thin seedlings to their final spacing as they grow.
