Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April or directly outdoors from late April to May. For indoor sowing, fill seed trays or pots with fine compost, sow seeds thinly on the surface, and lightly cover with compost. Maintain a temperature of 18-21°C and keep soil moist until germination occurs.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 25-30 cm apart in a sunny, well-drained location.

 

For direct sowing, scatter seeds over well-prepared soil, lightly rake in, and water gently. Thin seedlings to allow ample space for growth.
