Cosmos Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This cottage garden flower is an extremely easy to grow annual with pretty large single daisy like flowers in a great mix of colours.

They stand on tall stems above ferny foliage blooming during summer.

Perfect for planting in a sunny mixed border they make a nice cut flower for the home.

Good for attracting a host of wildlife into the garden.

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Planting ideas Beds, borders, cottage, low maintenance, cut flower

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 6mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Alternatively sow outside where they are to grow in May into finely raked soil.

Gradually harden off before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
