Coriander Herb Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow annual herb has large green leaves with a mild flavour the white flowers produce brown seed.

The fresh leaves and the seed can be used in various dishes.

Ideal for growing in pots and containers as well as the garden.

Harvest May onwards or year round if grown indoors

Companion plants Asparagus, Spinach, Beans and Peas

Pick the leaves when required and gather the seed heads when they turn brown by shaking them into an air tight container. The leaves can be frozen or dried

Use in a variety of dishes salads, Mexican, Oriental and Mediterranean dishes

Sow the seed into well raked prepared moist soil where they are to grow between March - June around 0.5cm deep when the plants emerge thin them to around 20cm apart and keep well watered until they are established.

Alternatively sow Indoors any time of the year on a warm window sill and grow on.
