Cineraria Silver Dust Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

A compact foliage plant with finely cut silver leaves, perfect for contrast planting and low maintenance displays.

Cineraria Silver Dust is a half hardy perennial often grown as an annual for its striking silvery white foliage. Its deeply lobed leaves form a soft, velvety mound that adds texture and brightness to borders, containers, and bedding schemes.

Small yellow flowers may appear in summer, but the real appeal lies in its frosted foliage, which pairs beautifully with vibrant blooms.

Drought tolerant and easy to grow, Silver Dust is ideal for edging, companion planting, and Mediterranean-style gardens. Also known as Dusty Miller or Silver Ragwort.

Harden off before planting out after the last frost, spacing plants 25–30 cm apart in full sun. Water moderately and avoid overfeeding. Trim back lightly to maintain shape and encourage fresh growth.
